My mum, her tattoo and our hair.

Sometimes when you look back on a situation, you realize it wasn't all you thought it was. For example, when I was still studying in Form 4 I decided to straighten my hair and I was extremely excited about the process.

Fast forward to year 2009, it has been 2years since my last hair treatment. (occasionally I will go for treatments and hair cut just to trim off some length however I have never changed my hair colour or style- seriously what’s wrong with black coloured hair?).

Finally I am going to straighten my hair again though my friend (shout out to Ah Ber) always said
“Huh? Straighten again meh? Your hair not straight enough?”

The process of straightening my hair takes about 4hours and a lot of $$$$$$. Luckily my mum and a friend was there to chit chat while having treatment done or not I will have probably fall asleep. Somehow our topic of conversation was very weird.

(Firstly my mum is not a typical mum and my relationship with my mum is also not typical. She has always been very open-minded and only hit me once because I broke her favourite “snowman” cup.)

My mum decided to talk about tattoo (a surprising fact- my mum does have a tattoo.) She thinks it very cool and it was her silly teenager dream to have one tattoo of angel’s wings on her back. Being her only daughter I have never been surprised by my mum’s action/choice of topic to talk during a 4hours hair straightening process. Then during this conversation my mum and friend decided to draw tattoo designs.

I always felt older when I am around my mum. As you know I don’t really like hair dye, tattoo, piercing and plenty of other censored things that my mum supports. Well I like to look at it as art and sometimes people violated this form by doing crazy not human like decoration on their own bodies. - thank god my mum don’t have any sense of internet surfing or not GOD KNOWS WHAT MY MUM WILL FIND OUT especially if she reads this -
The result of my 4hours process + lost of rm200 *ten ten ten ten*
